Salmon River Bank Stabilization

Water Street provided conceptual and detailed design services for bank stabilization works along the Salmon River in Langley, BC. This work followed erosion of a section of the Salmon River bank caused by the 2021 atmospheric river events.

Water Street’s design work included bank protection works, grade control structures, channel realignment works, and habitat considerations through use of native gravels and woody debris structures. Work is planned to be constructed in 2023.
