Sandpiper Resort Redevelopment

Water Street was retained by Keltic Development Ltd. to provide hydrotechnical engineering services for the proposed redevelopment of the Sandpiper Resort.

Water Street assessed the Harrison River flood levels for a range of annual exceedance probability events and developed preliminary options for flood protection with consideration of climate change impacts, riparian areas protection, and habitat restoration. A preliminary assessment of the flooding and debris flow hazards from Elbow Creek was also completed.

Water Street also assessed the water supply system with respect to existing water demands, proposed additional demands, available water supply, and considerations for a connection to the regional system.
