Project Description:
Water Street provided detailed design and construction services for the replacement of a culvert over Little Whistler Creek. The design included an 1800-mm diameter CSP embedded in native creek gravels to provide a natural substrate and maintain habitat value.
Our team worked closely with the regulators and local municipality, and coordinated the geotechnical investigation, environmental assessment, and permitting efforts. The culvert was installed successfully during the fish window in August 2022.
